CBSE 12 Result 2025 Toppers: The CBSE announced the Class 10th and 12th results today, May 13, 2025, following past trends of releasing both on the same day. Over 4.4 million students appeared for the exams, with a passing score of 33% required in both theory and practical papers.
CBSE Result 2025 Toppers List: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE Class 10th and 12th today 13th May 2025. As per the past CBSE Result trends, the board announced the results for both classes on the same day. Students can view and download their CBSE Board scorecard online on the official websites – cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE Board generally not announces the toppers list of the exam. However, this year’s CBSE Board Class 12th topper’s name got out. Students must score at least 33 per cent marks in both theory and practical papers for the CBSE 10th, 12th exam 2025. Those falling short by one or two marks may be awarded grace marks. This year, more than 44 lakh students took the CBSE Board exams — about 24.12 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 10 and 17.88 lakh for Class 12 CBSE Board Exams. In comparison, last year’s overall pass percentage for Class 12 was 87.98%, showing an improvement from 2023. For Class 10, the pass rate increased to 93.60%, which was a 0.48% rise from the previous year.

CBSE 10th Result 2025: Independent schools record 94.17% pass rate
In the CBSE 10th result 2025, independent (private) schools have achieved a 94.17% pass rate. JNVs have a pass rate of 99.49% while KVs have 99.45% students passing the exam. Government schools, in contrast, have recorded a pass percentage of 89.26%, while aided institutions are at 83.94%.
CBSE Results 2025: Bengaluru records 98.90% pass rate in Class 10
Bengaluru has maintained its top-tier academic standing with a 98.90% pass percentage in the Class 10 CBSE exams 2025. Trivandrum and Vijaywada tied for the top spot at 99.79%, while Chennai was also strong with 98.71%.
