The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025, conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), commences today, April 16, and will continue through April 17.
An additional Kannada language test is scheduled for April 18. This examination is a gateway for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, and other professional courses across Karnataka.
Admit Card Access
Candidates who have registered for KCET 2025 can download their admit cards from the official KEA website: kea.kar.nic.in.
To retrieve the admit card, applicants need to enter their application number and the first four characters of their name.
It is imperative to verify all details on the admit card for accuracy. In case of discrepancies, candidates should promptly contact KEA at keauthority-ka@nic.in or call 080-23460460.
Essential Documents for Exam Day
Candidates must bring the following items to the examination center:
- Printed copy of the KCET 2025 admit card.
- A valid photo ID proof (original), such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or School/College ID.
- Two passport-sized photographs.
- A blue or black ballpoint pen.
Prohibited Items
To maintain the integrity of the examination, candidates are prohibited from bringing the following items into the exam hall:
- Electronic devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, pagers, calculators, etc.
- Study materials: Textbooks, notes, or any printed materials.
- Personal items: Handbags, purses, eatables, or any metallic items.
Exam Day Guidelines
- Arrive at the examination center well in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
- Occupy only the seat assigned as per the seating arrangement.
- Listen carefully to the invigilator’s instructions and adhere to them strictly.
- Use only the space provided on the question paper for rough work.
- Ensure that the version code on the OMR sheet matches the question paper.
- Do not leave the examination hall until the exam concludes.
Important Note
Candidates who have opted exclusively for UGNEET will not receive KCET 2025 hall tickets, as their admissions will be based solely on NEET UG scores.
