Anna University has announced an extension for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 registration deadline. Candidates now have until February 26, 2025, to submit their applications for MBA and MCA programs for the 2025-2026 academic session. This extension provides aspiring students additional time to complete their registrations and prepare for the upcoming examinations. 

Key Dates and Application Process 

  • Registration Deadline: February 26, 2025 
  • TANCET 2025 Exam Date: March 22, 2025 
  • MCA Exam: Morning session 
  • MBA Exam: Afternoon session 
  • CEETA-PG 2025 Exam Date: March 23, 2025 

Candidates can apply online through the official TANCET website: tancet.annauniv.edu. The application fee is ₹1,000 for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, and ₹500 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates from Tamil Nadu. For CEETA-PG 2025, the registration fee is ₹1,800 for general candidates and ₹900 for reserved categories. 

Steps to Register: 

  1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to tancet.annauniv.edu. 
  2. Online Registration: Click on the “Online Registration” link. 
  3. Fill in Details: Provide necessary information such as name, date of birth, email address, and other required credentials. 
  4. Upload Documents: Submit scanned copies of required documents. 
  5. Pay Application Fee: Complete the payment process through the available online modes. 
  6. Submit Application: Review all details and submit the application form. 
  7. Print Confirmation: Download and print the application form and payment receipt for future reference. 

Admit Card and Examination Details 

Admit cards for TANCET 2025 will be available for download from March 8, 2025, through the candidate’s login portal on the official website. It is essential to carry the admit card to the examination center, along with a valid photo ID proof. 

The TANCET examination is a gateway for admission into various postgraduate programs, including MBA and MCA, offered by University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Campuses of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government-Aided Colleges, and Self-financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
