The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 results have been officially released by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their results through the official PSTET website. This announcement marks a significant milestone for aspiring teachers in Punjab, as the PSTET certification is a mandatory requirement for teaching positions in the state’s schools. 

Examination Overview 

The PSTET 2024 was conducted on December 1, 2024, across various centers in Punjab. The examination comprised two papers:

  • Paper II: For those aiming to teach classes VI to VIII.

  1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to the PSTET official portal at pstet.pseb.ac.in. 
  2. Login Credentials: Click on the “PSTET 2024 Result” link and enter your registration number and password. 
  3. View Result: After logging in, your result will be displayed on the screen. 
  4. Download and Print: It’s advisable to download the result and print a copy for future reference.

Qualifying Marks and Certification 

The qualifying marks for PSTET 2024 are categorized as follows: 

  • General Category: Minimum 60% 
  • SC/ST/OBC and Other Reserved Categories: Minimum 55% 

Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria will be awarded the PSTET certificate, which is essential for applying to teaching positions within Punjab. The certificate can be downloaded from the official website by logging into your account. It includes details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained, and qualifying status. 

Answer Key and Objections 

Prior to the result declaration, PSEB released the provisional answer key on December 11, 2024. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections until December 15, 2024. After reviewing the challenges, the final answer key was prepared, which formed the basis for the result computation. This transparent process ensures the accuracy and fairness of the evaluation.
